This guided trip starts in Åndalsnes. We will visit Bergtatt and the Atlanterhavsveien and return to Molde where the ship has arrived.

From Åndalsnes we take the ferry across Langfjord from Åfarnes to Sølsnes. We pass Bolsøya before driving on to Eide. Here will be an exciting stop at Bergtatt. Bergtatt's marble mine is the result of mining that started in 1938. Mining is still ongoing in parts of the mine. In the Bergtatt visitor center we sail over the still waters of the underground lake deep inside the mountain. Here everyone gets to taste the mountain's spring water, tapped directly from the rock face, when we stop at the intimate small tunnels. The tunnels are lit by chandeliers. When we arrive in the Great Hall (which holds 22 degrees Celsius all year round), the tables are covered with candles and their famous mining soup is served. In this hall, the acoustics are fantastic and we will check that out. Before or after the boat trip, we will watch a video about mining and mining history.

After this the trip goes north to the Atlanterhavsveien, which is another highlight of this excursion. Atlanterhavsveien is a National Tourist Road. Here, low, arched bridges swing over the open sea and guarantee travelers a fantastic view. The Atlantic Road, which was named "Construction of the Century" in 2005, is among the world's most famous road trips. It took over six years to complete the roadway- with eight bridges connecting the Romsdal peninsula with the island of Averøy, even though it is only just over 8 km long. We take a photo stop on Eldhusøya - here a floating path has been created around the island where you can walk around if the weather permits. After the bus ride and the photo stop by the Atlanterhavsveien, we continue to Molde, where Gann is waiting for us.
