Today we will experience the "Paris of the North" as the city is called. First we head to Polaria, a great Arctic adventure centre. Polaria will reflect some of the climate and environmental research that takes place in arctic regions. We will learn about this through knowledge-based exhibitions made in collaboration with researchers from the Framsenteret (North Centre for Climate and Environmental Research). Then we continue the tour around the island of Tromsø, crossing the bridge that connects the island with the mainland, to the Arctic Cathedral. There will be a visit to the Arctic Cathedral before the excursion ends with the Cable Car Fjellheisen. It will take us up to Storsteinen (421moh) where we enjoy a fantastic view of the city (weather permitting).
